Today on our 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Road Master 12 volt outlet kit, part number RN-9332.So here's what our 12 volt outlet kit is going to look like once we have it installed. We decided to tuck ours away underneath the dash, that way it's out of the way, but still accessible when we want to plug something in. This is going to provide us with 12 volts of power, whether the key is on or off. Which is going to be great for powering a portable braking system, whenever we flat tow our Jeep.Now we do have a 12 volt built into the dash, however, this is only going to get power when the key is in the run position, which isn't really going to help out a lot when we're powering our portable braking system, because the key is going to be off in our Jeep.Our kit is going to come with five feet of wires, so we can route it from the inside all the way to the battery. But keep in mind, it's probably a good idea to pick up some extra wire, plug connectors and ring terminals, because we we're just a little bit short on reaching the negative terminal on our battery.The instillation is going to be extremely straight forward.
